A beachfront community camp on the shores of Bilene Lagoon — a stunning saltwater lagoon separated from the Indian Ocean by a narrow sandbar. The camp offers simple bungalows, camping, and community-led activities including lagoon kayaking, sandbar picnics, traditional fishing, and visits to nearby Tsonga communities. 60% of revenue supports a community freshwater project and a youth swimming programme (Bilene has high drowning rates). The camp is operated in partnership with the local community, with all staff hired from surrounding villages.
