85% of revenue stays with the host community.
A music and dance experience in Chókwè, the agricultural heart of the Limpopo Valley. Visitors learn traditional Tsonga drumming patterns, participate in the ngoma dance (a powerful rhythmic stomp with Nguni influences from the Gaza Kingdom), learn to play the xitende (mouth bow), and share an evening of music and food with the community. The programme preserves Tsonga-Shangaan musical traditions in a region where they are rapidly disappearing. 85% of revenue funds a youth music education programme and instrument-making workshops.
